JZ Strategy · Business Strategy
Know exactly what to build, what to charge, and what to do first.
Market research, financial projections, and a prioritized 90-day roadmap for founders launching or growing a business — built for your business, and personally reviewed by Jason Zaczyk before it ever reaches you.
Our commitment: you see the full Statement of Work — scope, deliverables, price — before you pay a dollar.
Who's behind this
Jason Zaczyk — 26 years turning ideas into revenue
Product strategy at Motorola's semiconductor division, where he owned a processor family from concept to production. Two decades in technical sales growing territories from $8M to $18M, then $12M past $30M. Co-founder and CFO of a boutique fitness studio launched in 2020 that won its regional SBDC Start-Up of the Year award and has grown 15%+ annually for five years since.
And one venture that failed in product testing after earning its patents and investor meetings. Advisors who've never lost tend to give advice that's never been tested — that tuition is built into every plan Jason reviews.

Why the price works
The research and analysis platform Jason built handles what a boutique firm would staff a team of analysts to produce — market research, competitive analysis, three-year financial modeling, scenario planning. Jason then writes the strategy, the recommendations, and the roadmap himself, and revises every page of the analysis against what he knows about your market before you see it. That division of labor is how a focused practice delivers the depth of a $15,000 engagement without the quality roulette at the cheap end of the market.
Founding Client Program
Five founding places at reduced pricing — Foundation $1,500 · Growth $3,500 · Executive $6,500 — in exchange for an honest testimonial and an anonymized case study. Same deliverables, same personal review by Jason, same guarantee of seeing your full SOW before paying a dollar. Offer closes October 30, 2026.
After delivery
Execution Partner — $399/month, cancel anytime
A plan only matters if it gets executed. Stay accountable to your 90-day roadmap with a monthly check-in call with Jason, a written progress review against your plan's own metrics, and roadmap adjustments as reality unfolds. Available to any client after package delivery.
Add-ons available with any engagement: entity formation support ($750 + filing), additional competitor deep-dive ($750), and — for Executive clients — a full investor pitch deck ($2,500).
What you actually receive
A plan is only worth what's on the page.
These excerpts are real, redacted pages from a delivered Foundation engagement — not mockups. Client-identifying details are removed; the analysis and numbers are exactly as delivered.
Market opportunity
"Big-box retailers offer cheap, short-lived products; full contractors are overkill and overpriced; Etsy sellers are priced out by shipping. This leaves a clear mid-tier vacancy: quality, custom-built, delivered-and-installed work at a reasonable price point."
"The 4-of-15 repeat customer rate from unpaid word-of-mouth is the single most important data point in this plan."
From the Foundation Strategic Plan — full market analysis and competitor breakdown in the linked excerpt.
Three-year projections
| Line | Yr 1 | Yr 2 | Yr 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | $19,288 | $22,181 | $25,509 |
| Gross profit (60%) | $11,573 | $13,309 | $15,305 |
| Total jobs | 193 | — | — |
| Reserve required | $11,850 | ||
Built in Excel with live formulas. The plan flagged that the client's $5,000 starting capital falls short of the $11,850 off-season reserve the model requires — before it became a problem, not after.
Days 1–30: Foundation & Validation
- Finalize a written rate card across all product tiers
- Set up business infrastructure — entity, bank account, invoicing
- Build a portfolio channel from existing completed work
- Assess delivery options against the starting budget
The full 30/60/90 plan carries this through validation, traction, and scale-prep phases — every task with an owner and a week.

How it works
A consultative process, in this order — always.
Intake
Tell us about your business through a structured questionnaire. Ten minutes, no calls required to start.
Fit & scope
We assess which package genuinely fits your stage — and tell you if a smaller one is the right call. Jason personally finalizes every recommendation.
Statement of Work
You receive a written SOW: exact deliverables, timeline, and price. No surprises, nothing vague.
You commit only after the SOW. Work begins when you've signed and paid a 50% deposit — the balance is due only on delivery. Never before, and never the other way around. That's the same rule for every package, at every price.
Execution
Research, projections, and strategy are built for your business. Growth engagements include a plan-handoff call with Jason; Executive engagements are guided by three structured calls throughout.
Jason's review
Every deliverable passes Jason's personal review before it's approved. Nothing is sent that he hasn't read.
Delivery
Your complete package arrives as a polished document, with a roadmap you can start executing the same week.
A separate track
Launching a nonprofit?
Nonprofit founders face a different set of questions than for-profit ones — funding is diversified rather than earned, "competitors" are usually collaborators, and the honest first question is often whether a new organization should exist at all. This is a dedicated engagement built for that reality, not a repurposed business plan.
Nonprofit Launch Package
For early-stage nonprofit founders
$4,999
For founders launching a nonprofit who need a credible, funder-ready foundation — the strategy, program design, evidence base, and fundraising materials to run programs and raise money with confidence.
- Strategic Plan (3-year) with explicit go/no-go and scaling criteria
- Needs Assessment & Problem Statement, sourced and specific
- Landscape & Collaboration Analysis
- Evidence Library with a reusable citation register
- Program Design (eligibility, dosage, staffing, capacity)
- Theory of Change & Logic Model
- Impact Measurement & Evaluation Framework
- Multi-Year Budget — editable Excel, three-year build with live formulas
- Case for Support (master document, one-pager, pitch deck outline)
- Grant Readiness Package — reusable boilerplate at multiple lengths
- Funder Prospect Research & 12-month fundraising calendar
- Plan-handoff walkthrough call with Jason
Jason's role: final review of every deliverable.
Scope note: governance policy suites, child safeguarding protocols, partner agreements, and insurance selection require qualified professional preparation and are outside this engagement. Where your plan depends on them, this package identifies exactly what is required and who should prepare it.
Before you ask
The questions that come up every time
How long does it take?
TK — confirm delivery windows per package Your exact timeline is written into the Statement of Work before you commit, so you know the delivery date before you pay anything.
What do you need from me?
Less than you'd expect. The intake questionnaire takes about ten minutes. After that, expect one round of clarifying questions by email, and — depending on your package — a handoff call or three structured calls with Jason. You don't need to prepare documents, financials, or research in advance; if you have them, they help, and if you don't, the work doesn't stall.
What if I disagree with the plan?
Say so. Every package includes a revision pass, and a disagreement is usually a sign that something about your market or constraints didn't make it into the intake. If Jason still thinks you're wrong after hearing you out, he'll tell you that too — and explain why, with the reasoning on the page. You're buying judgment, not agreement.
Am I too early for this?
Possibly, and we'll tell you. If you're still deciding whether you want to run a business at all, a $2,499 plan isn't your next step. If you have a specific idea and a real intention to launch, you're in range. The fit assessment happens before the Statement of Work, so finding out costs you nothing.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Nothing you share is disclosed to anyone, and Jason will sign your NDA on request before the intake if you'd rather have it in writing first. Case studies from the Founding Client Program are anonymized and published only with your explicit approval.
Who actually writes my plan?
Jason writes the strategy, the recommendations, and the roadmap. The research platform he built produces the underlying market analysis, competitive research, and financial modeling — the work a boutique firm would assign to a team of analysts. Jason then reviews and revises every page against what he knows about your market before it reaches you. Nothing is delivered that he hasn't read and approved.
Do you work with businesses outside your region?
Yes. The intake, calls, and delivery all happen remotely, and the research is built around your specific market wherever it is. TK — note any in-person availability for local clients
